I think I'm going to wash/block the pieces first and THEN seam them. All those curling edges will just make seaming more difficult. I also want to have the fronts blocked when I'm trying to attach that ribbing/button band.
Happy Knitting!BrownBerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06619257153867142787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26430884.post-35885131858165271612007-02-15T18:21:00.000-05:002007-02-15T18:21:00.000-05:00Thanks for the words of support. I'm starting againg tonight.Tealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00720718673571641676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26430884.post-84035465411091868532007-02-15T14:51:00.000-05:002007-02-15T14:51:00.000-05:00Hi Hilary! I had a pretty decent-sized little ball left over from that skein as well.

::going to edit post now::Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17109910521429088196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26430884.post-82142787716124934682007-02-14T16:19:00.000-05:002007-02-14T16:19:00.000-05:00Wow!! I've been doing that with my yarn and it works like a charm. I was wondering if it would be as strong as a russian join (thinking ahead to an all wool lace project) and I tested some Cascade 220. It worked beautifully - and leaves no ends!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26430884.post-26675244834118561822007-02-14T14:06:00.000-05:002007-02-14T14:06:00.000-05:00Your CPH is looking great. My concentration wonders also and twice I've forgotten the 4th cable. Fortunately I've only gone a couple of rows past before seeing my mistake. Stay warm!Tealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00720718673571641676noreply@blogger.com
